Adobe Systems Incorporated have launched their new Flash Mobile Gallery Website. Adobe have specifically hand-picked a comprehensive range of mobile content to showcase the very best rich mobile applications that can be developed in Flash.
Flash for mobile, allows developers the ability to create next generation content for mobile phones that can enable new levels of interactive intelligent experiences for the end users – far beyond that of previous TXT-Messaging mobile service applications. Zodal’s RugbyMate application, developed in Flash for Series 60 handsets and also for the Apple iPhone, is featured as one of the top international applications that were selected to be part of the Adobe mobile gallery.
RugbyMate is a real time mobile data application developed by Zodal for the Rugby World Cup 2007 in Paris. Users could easily click through the application on their mobile phone, to keep track of all the teams, scores and game times during the pool competitions and finals, all through a well designed, appropriately branded, user friendly interface application. RugbyMate uses Zodal’s “EventPro” mobile technology server modules written in JAVA and Ruby to enable the back-end real time services for the application, so the system can be re-used for any major sporting event.
